I'm LOVING this photo! You didn't Photoshop this, right? I love how you've captured the part where sunlight is peeking through the clouds.

I actually thought that was a picture from the Snowdonia area before I saw it was Iceland.
BTW, I'm not sure if you've mentioned this in another post, but was there a specific British island Miss Peregrine's was based upon?

I just finished Miss Peregrines Peculiar Children. It was a great book except it was missing pages 289 through 321. I managed to get the idea, but wished those pages were there. It was the hard cover.

I went to Iceland in July 2007 for a few days. It was absolutely amazing. I saw glaciers, volcanic craters, black sand beaches and geysers. It was so interesting.

What a beautiful sense of light. Having traveled the Emerald Isles, this is the truth. Nicely seen and captured.

I just finished your book; we're reading it for book club. I loved it! Although it's marketed as young adult material, the text is so well crafted as to engage intelligent adult readers for its entirety. I anticipate the next book in what I hope will become a series. Congratulations!

And I thought I was original, discovering a brand-new book! I found it in a tiny book shop in the middle of no where this August, and have read it at least three times since. I just found your blog, and I really hope it turns out to be a movie! I can tell it'd become an instant classic! Thank you so much for writing this book, it's definitely one of my favorites!:)

I lived in Iceland for a few years back in the 80's. It's a gorgeous country. I lived in Njardvik on the western coast. I took a short flight over to Hofn one weekend. I saw a whale in the ocean that looked as big as a skyscraper. I'm in still in awe all these years later. How can something that massive live on our planet? Iceland is a wonderful little country to explore. I hope you had a blast.

Hi, I was flipping through the pages of the book called miss Peregrines home for peculiar children when a page caught my eye, I saw the name Ralph Waldo Emerson. He is my decendent on my mothers side and I was just a little curious and wanted to know if that letter that's in the book is really something that he wrote. I am only 13 years old but I would still like to know more about my past.
