Land of Sleep

Home for the holidays recently, I was inspired to create this short film about the strange, somnambulent town I grew up in, and how my feelings about it have changed over the years.

Thank you for Land of Sleep. It is visual poetry and proof that looking this closely provides a glimpse of the magic that exists everywhere. That young readers connect with you so strongly is wonderful. Your thoughtful view of the world is a gift. Thank you for sharing it.

I am a huge fan of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. These video clips were great. Very artistic.

I read Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children while listening to a band called Shearwater. It enhanced my reading experience by ten fold. You need to check them out if you don’t know them already. Mysterious music for a mysterious book Good stuff!

I just got a copy of Hollow City. I'm looking forward to reading it. Thanks for such great reads! Keep up the good work!

I love this. I grew up in Boca Grande (my family is still there -- I was there just last week, in fact), and I went to Lemon Bay High School for a year, so I know Englewood. I think you have done a beautiful job capturing and honoring the best parts of it. Absolutely lovely.

I'm a librarian in New Orleans now, and I work primarily with teens, so I was especially thrilled to find out that such a great book was written by someone from sleepy, small town E-wood. Looking forward to the next books! Congratulations!
